American business ideas
American business ideas often seem not very successful, but in reality it turns out that they work and bring quite tangible profits.
One of the most relevant to date ideas that came to us from the New World, is to monitor remote workers. According to statistics, an increasing number of employees are gradually moving from offices to the home environment.
This is understandable – many employees find it difficult to concentrate in a troubled office, and others cannot work under the vigilant supervision of their boss.
However, work at home requires high self-organization – favorite pajamas and soft slippers are clearly not conducive to the mood for a working mood. And how much time is occupied by social networks, chatting in instant messengers, watching videos, and even entire films!
Unlike offices, where there is no such possibility, no one will interfere at home with sending a friend a new joke or a link to a ridiculous demotivator. In addition, for many employees, households are hampered much more than their office colleagues, and the work is done much slower than necessary.
This is where entrepreneurial American programmers decided to make some extra money by creating a service to monitor remote workers. For a certain amount, the program will track the sites visited by the employee, the time of absence near the computer, and even conduct online surveillance via a webcam. At the end of the day, the manager will be provided with a detailed report, which will indicate whether the person actually worked or just had a good time with a laptop on his lap.
However, it is not necessary to spend money on the development of a complex program – you can simply organize a small service, whose representatives will visit remote workers for a fee. It may simply be a check to see if the computer is turned on and which programs are used, or to collect reports on work done at home.
As practice shows, this simple method justifies itself quite well – knowing that they are being watched for in one way or another, remote workers are more responsible in their duties and perform the assigned tasks qualitatively.
What it is: an international street food restaurant with a hidden art gallery.
What is the trick: co-owners Nick Vivion and Kevin Farrell bring to life the idea of the food that you like, from different countries. Inspired by their travels around the world, Vivion and Farrell developed a menu that includes classic dishes from street waggons, like French fries from Belgium, banana sandwiches from Vietnam, as well as Venezuelan empanades.

What it is: fashion boutique and tattoo parlor.
What is the trick: passers-by will recognize Brightside by its sunny yellow window in the spirit of the initial song “Good morning, Baltimore” from the musical “Hairspray”.
Recognized as the best boutique of Baltimore by the Baltimore Magazine magazine, Brightside sells trendy clothes, shoes and accessories. Partners Christie Griffiths and Kicky Castillo do business together, with Griffiths, a fashion-focused person, and Castillo, a tattoo artist.
What it is: a bar dedicated to the carousel.
What’s the trick: drink lovers gather around the Carousel Bar at the Monteleone Hotel, which is built around a real, working carousel. The old carousel is decorated in the frilly style of the French Quarter, with 25 seats, which will allow you to get the ever-changing view of the historic Royal Street.
Not only is the concept itself incredibly steep, but so is the enormous cocktail card Carousel Bar, distinguished by its martinis.
